Against the Galaxy S25 Ultra, it provides superior thermal management and six years of updates, though its optical zoom is lower. Versus the Pixel 9 Pro, it stands out for screen brightness and native ProRes recording. On balance, the mix of power, camera and size cements one of the best quality-performance ratios in the premium segment, the sole compromise being keeping 120Hz rather than 144Hz seen on some rivals.
