OnePlus Watch 4

Performance and energy efficiency are handled through a dual-processor setup. The Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 platform, intended for demanding tasks, works alongside a BES2700 coprocessor designed for background operations. Thanks to this arrangement, the watch can switch between the Wear OS 5.0 operating system and a low-power RTOS environment. Pairing is required with smartphones running Android 9.0 or later that include Google Mobile Services (GMS); iOS and Android Go editions are not compatible.

1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED screen

The 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED panel features dynamic refresh technology, which lowers energy use in Always-On Display mode. It offers a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels (326 dpi) and reaches a peak brightness of 3000 nits, so readability in direct sunlight is maintained. A 2.5D sapphire glass, resistant to scratches and impacts, covers the surface.

Durable construction

The 47-millimetre case is crafted from surgical-grade stainless steel with a matte black PVD finish. A fluoroelastomer strap with a steel buckle and 22 mm anchor system is included. As for resilience, it holds IP69 certification (protection against high-pressure water jets and temperature), 5ATM water resistance and the MIL-STD-810H military standard.

Battery life of up to 100 hours

With its 646 mAh battery, the watch delivers up to 100 hours in smart mode under Wear OS. Under intensive use (biometric sensors and active GPS), runtime spans 48 to 60 hours, whereas saver mode (RTOS) stretches it to as much as 15 days. VOOC 10W fast charging brings the battery to 100% in 55 minutes.

Optical heart rate sensor

The sensing suite comprises an 8-channel optical heart rate monitor (HRV), blood oxygen measurement (SpO2), a skin temperature sensor and electrocardiogram (ECG) hardware. These elements allow advanced fatigue and recovery data to be recorded.

GPS

For location tracking, a dual-frequency Multi-GNSS L1+L5 system (Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS and QZSS) is built in, enhancing precision in dense urban environments. Connectivity also includes Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi and an NFC chip for payments through Google Wallet. This model lacks eSIM support; data transfer relies on the paired smartphone.
