Huawei Watch GT Runner 2

Smartwatch aimed at athletics and sophisticated biometric tracking. Its build pairs a front made of aerospace-grade titanium alloy with a rear shell in fibre-reinforced polymer. Thanks to this design, it weighs only 34.5 grams, which improves comfort over long runs.

Bright AMOLED screen

The screen is a 1.32-inch AMOLED panel with 466 x 466 pixels (352 PPI). Its dimensions have been tuned to enhance ergonomics and prevent wrist contact during demanding workouts. It reaches a peak brightness of 3000 nits, so it stays fully legible under direct sun. Protection comes from second-generation Kunlun Glass, which offers greater impact resistance than standard sapphire.

GPS and connectivity

Location tracking uses a 3D floating antenna with a dual-band GNSS system (L1 + L5). It works with the five major constellations (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU and QZSS) and also supports NavIC. For connections, it includes Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC.

Health and sports features

Health data is managed through the Huawei TruSense optical system. The hardware brings a skin temperature sensor, a barometer and an ECG module for electrocardiograms. For training, it estimates lactate threshold, VO2 Max and Running Ability Index (RAI). It also offers offline map navigation and a Smart Marathon Mode that adapts pacing plans and hydration reminders according to live performance.

Up to 14 days of battery and water resistance

Power comes from a 540 mAh silicone battery, delivering up to 14 days of use and 32 hours of continuous GPS tracking. Charging is magnetic and wireless, taking 75 minutes for a full cycle. The watch holds 5 ATM and IP69 certifications, so it withstands immersion to 40 metres as well as high-pressure water jets and temperature. Two straps are supplied: one in breathable AirDry fabric for running and one in fluoroelastomer for swimming.
