This watch combines a steel bezel with a 1.32" AMOLED panel capable of 2,200 nits, all in a compact, lightweight build that suits smaller wrists without compromising on premium features. At only 32g, it resists 5 ATM of pressure and, with its 320 mAh cell and HyperOS 2, delivers as much as eight days of standard usage.
Made for slender wrists
The 41 mm case, 9.5 mm thick, comes with a soft, hypoallergenic Mint Green fluoroelastomer strap that keeps its shape even when you sweat. Its 2.5D curved glass and polished edge give it an elegant finish while remaining simple to wipe clean.
Luminous always-on screen
The AMOLED display delivers 466 × 466 px (≈320 ppi), a 60 Hz refresh rate and 2 200 nits of peak brightness, so it stays perfectly legible under direct sun. Always-On mode is managed dynamically to keep power draw to a minimum.
A week of battery
You get up to 8 days of mixed use (24 h monitoring, notifications and GPS on time) or 20 h of continuous GPS activity. The two-pin magnetic dock brings it back to 100% in 75 min.
Health and sport, taken further
- Multi-channel sensors: PPG for heart rate and SpO₂, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, barometer and skin thermometer.
- 150+ sport modes and dual GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS) for accurate metrics.
- Irregular heart rate alerts and stress assessment with guided breathing.
Connectivity and smart functions
Bluetooth 5.4 supports hands-free calling and music control; it works with Android 8.0/iOS 14 or later. There is no NFC, but it does include a dual microphone and speakerphone for voice assistants.
Our expert take
The Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm addresses the usual gripe about small wrists without giving up brightness or sensors compared with the 46mm model. Next to rivals such as the Galaxy Watch 6 40 mm or the Apple Watch SE 2 40 mm, it shines for its ultra-light weight and greater brightness, though it falls behind on mobile payments because it omits NFC. Against the Watch S3, it offers a brighter panel and better power management. The balance between performance and autonomy, together with the brand's customary low price, makes it a very well-rounded choice for anyone after a compact smartwatch without losing thorough sports metrics.
