The Grandstream Networks HT812 v2 is a high-performance analogue telephone adapter (ATA) built to link conventional analogue telephones, fax machines or PBX systems with IP-based VoIP networks. It comes with two FXS ports, allowing it to handle two separate analogue lines, which makes it a suitable option for small offices or home offices needing dependable voice communication. For network connection, the unit provides dual 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, and it backs advanced security protocols such as TLS and SRTP to guarantee encrypted voice traffic.
With automated provisioning through TR-069 or XML configuration files, the HT812 v2 makes deployment and management easier in multi-unit settings. It further offers 3-way audio conferencing, T.38 fax support and a variety of codecs, among them G.711, G.722 and G.729. Its compact build and Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability (using an optional adapter) turn it into a flexible solution for bringing legacy analogue devices into contemporary VoIP systems.
