The new Sony Access is a versatile controller kit, designed to meet the diverse needs of gamers. It has been developed in close collaboration with the disability community to help gamers with different abilities to play more comfortably for longer.

Configurable and adaptable

Sony's new controller allows you to configure the button layout to suit your level of mobility. You can also change the included joystick pads to find the shape and texture that suits you best. In addition, the extendable joystick arm can be lengthened or shortened and then fixed in place for greater comfort and ease of use. It can be positioned anywhere: in any 360° orientation, on variety of flat surfaces, on the wheelchair tray or attached to an AMPS bracket.

Pair it with other remotes

Sony Access can be used with other controllers: use two Sony Access controllers together as one universal controller; combine it with a Dualsense or Dualsense Edge to add features such as haptic feedback, adaptive trigger, motion sensor and touchpad to your setup. Or with its four standard 3.5mm expansion ports you can connect additional buttons, special triggers and other compatible accessories.

Up to 30 profiles

In order to tailor it to the individual gamer, 30 individual control profiles are available from the PS5 console settings, three profiles are stored on the Access controller and can be quickly switched between them with a dedicated button.

Configurable buttons and joysticks

The Sony Access features configurable buttons, and allows you to assign button inputs so that commands are exactly where you want them, you can configure button presses to activate/deactivate commands or to serve as one-touch input. Or disable buttons to avoid accidental presses, even assign two commands to a single button for ease of use. It also allows you to configure the joystick, calibrating the "north" direction to position the controller in a totally flexible way, adjusting the joystick sensitivity and dead zone to best suit your personal needs.
