Ulefone Tab A9 Pro Kids 8,68 4GB/128GB WiFi + 4G Blue

Combining childproof protection with eye comfort, the Tab A9 Pro Kids features a built-in EVA protective case and an 8.68″ HD+ 90 Hz IPS panel certified by TÜV Rheinland for Low Blue Light. The MediaTek Helio G91 chipset alongside 4GB + 128GB UFS 2.1 storage (expandable to 8GB virtual RAM and 2TB via microSD) delivers smooth performance for learning and Widevine L1 streaming, whilst the 5040 mAh battery, supported by 18W fast charging, lasts beyond a day of family use.

Child-friendly design

The EVA foam case cushions impacts and offers a secure grip; the whole set weighs 516g, with the tablet measuring 7.9mm in thickness. A dual-tip stylus and sticker kit are included for personalisation.

90 Hz display and eye protection

The 90 Hz refresh rate reduces flicker and, combined with Eye-Care mode, filters blue light and adjusts circadian brightness, easing eyestrain during extended use.

Child-Friendly Mode Software

A simplified interface with parental controls, time limits and pre-installed educational apps. Pure Android 15 ensures straightforward updates and dependable performance.

Performance and connectivity

The Helio G91 octa-core (2×A75 2.0 GHz + 6×A55 1.7 GHz) surpasses child tablets equipped with A22 SoC, delivering up to 30% more ARM G52 graphics power. Dual SIM 4G, dual band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS complete the package.

Cameras and multimedia

The rear setup pairs a 12 MP Sony IMX363 with a 13 MP ultra wide-angle 136.5° lens and 1080p recording; the 8 MP front camera adds fun filters. Two 1217 Box speakers deliver solid stereo sound, though without Dolby certification.

Efficient battery life

The 5040 mAh cell offers up to 300 h standby and 26 h talk time. 18 W charging reaches 50 % in roughly 45 min, although wireless charging is not supported.

Our expert opinion

The Ulefone Tab A9 Pro Kids ranks among the best value Android tablets for children. Against the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids (90 Hz and 32GB eMMC), it provides a smoother screen, UFS storage and 4G. Versus the standard Tab A9 Pro, it gains a case, stylus and educational ecosystem without compromising hardware, at the cost of added weight. Its downside is the HD+ resolution, lower than the FHD of the TCL Tab 10S Kids, but 90 Hz and dependable battery life compensate. All in all, the Tab A9 Pro Kids suits families seeking safety, durability and balanced performance without a higher price.
