Blackview Tab 20 Kids 10.1 4GB 64GB WiFi Blue

This children's tablet is a robust, standalone companion for learning through play, thanks to its drop-resistant EVA shell with built-in stand, voice AI that responds to questions without any typing, and a 6600 mAh battery supporting 10W fast charging. Running on Android 15 with DokeOS 4.1, it lengthens the update cycle and offers better value for money.

10.1″ HD+ screen.

The IPS panel delivers 800 × 1280 px, 60 Hz and 350 nits, enough for indoor use and educational material. Its thick bezel provides a secure grip and helps avoid unintended touches.

Kids Mode and Parental Controls

It features a Kids Space with timer, content filter and support for up to eight profiles. The new "Just Ask" function lets the child ask questions by voice and get contextualised answers while staying within safe mode.

Solid performance with Unisoc T310

The 4-core chip (2.0 GHz) works alongside 4 GB RAM and 64GB UFS, expandable via microSD up to 2 TB. Browsing, HD streaming and educational apps run without issue, and the PowerVR GPU allows for light gaming.

Sound, battery and connectivity

Two stereo speakers offer enough volume for interactive storytelling; the lack of a jack is offset by Bluetooth 5.0. Battery life goes beyond 7.5 hours of Wi-Fi browsing and 22 hours of audio; charging is via USB-C OTG.

Colourful and durable design

At 514g and 9.4mm, the Blackview Tab 20 Kids stays manageable despite the added protection. It is available in Unicorn Purple, Fairy Green and Bubble Blue, all with EVA foam that withstands bumps and drops for kids.

Our expert opinion

Next to the Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids (FHD screen, weaker processor and limited Fire OS) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus Kids Edition (90 Hz, 7 040 mAh, higher price), the Blackview Tab 20 Kids stands out for launching with Android 15, including voice AI and adding a thicker casing without gaining weight. It also improves on the Tab A6 Kids with +900 mAh, a more efficient processor and the new "Just Ask" environment. On the other hand, it keeps HD+ resolution and 10W charging. Overall, it provides a notable balance of safety, battery life and current software for families wanting a long-lasting kids' tablet without overspending.
