Smartphone Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, 8GB 128GB, 6.6 Super AMOLED LTPO, 5000mAh, Grey

Samsung Galaxy A57 5G

With an emphasis on robustness and lasting performance, the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G refreshes the manufacturer's mid-range offering. Measuring just 6.9 millimetres in thickness, the chassis swaps polycarbonate for an aluminium surround. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both faces and IP67 certification further bolster protection, ensuring dust resistance and survival when submerged in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes.

LTPO screen with 1,900 nits of brightness

A 6.6-inch flat Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution is fitted. The standout technical advance is the adaptive refresh rate spanning 1 to 120 Hz thanks to LTPO technology, which helps to curb power draw. Peak brightness reaches 1,900 nits, keeping the screen legible outdoors. Eye Comfort Shield 2.0 cuts blue light output, and HDR10+ is supported.

4nm Exynos platform and RDNA 3.5 graphics

At its heart sits Samsung's Exynos 1680 chip, built on a 4 nanometre process. It is paired with the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU, which draws on AMD's RDNA 3.5 architecture to handle demanding graphics. This variant carries 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In line with the current direction of the range, the microSD slot is no longer present.

Cameras with advanced stabilisation

Three sensors make up the rear array. The 50-megapixel (f/1.8) main sensor offers Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and PDAF focusing. Alongside it are a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle (123°) and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The 12-megapixel front camera records 4K video at 60fps, backed by the VDIS electronic stabilisation system.

45W fast charging and long-term support

The 5,000 mAh battery now takes 45W fast charging, reaching 50% in roughly 25 minutes. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0 and Dual SIM support (Nano-SIM + eSIM). The handset ships with One UI 8.5 on top of Android 16, with an official pledge of 6 years of system updates and security patches.
