Samsung Galaxy A57 5G

The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G refreshes the manufacturer's mid-range offering, concentrating on toughness and consistent performance. Its body is now 6.9 millimetres thick and swaps the polycarbonate for an aluminium frame around the edges. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ is fitted to the front and the back, while an IP67 rating confirms protection against dust and against being submerged in water at a depth of up to one metre for 30 minutes.

LTPO screen with 1,900 nits of brightness

A 6.6-inch flat Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution is included. The standout technical feature is the adaptive refresh rate, which ranges from 1 to 120 Hz thanks to LTPO technology, helping to keep power use down. Peak brightness reaches 1,900 nits, so the screen stays readable outdoors. Eye Comfort Shield 2.0 is also on board to limit blue light, alongside HDR10+ support.

4nm Exynos platform and RDNA 3.5 graphics

At the heart of the phone sits Samsung's Exynos 1680 chip, built on a 4 nanometre process. It is paired with the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU, which uses AMD's RDNA 3.5 architecture to handle demanding graphics. This variant carries 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. As is now common in this segment, there is no microSD card slot.

Cameras with advanced stabilisation

Three sensors make up the rear setup. The 50-megapixel (f/1.8) main sensor offers Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and PDAF focusing. Alongside it are a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (123°) and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The 12-megapixel front camera can record 4K video at 60fps, with support from the VDIS electronic stabilisation system.

45W fast charging and long-term support

The 5,000 mAh battery now takes 45W fast charging, reaching 50% in roughly 25 minutes. For connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0 and Dual SIM support (Nano-SIM + eSIM). The phone ships with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, and the brand promises 6 years of system updates and security patches.
