Samsung Galaxy A57 5G

With an emphasis on robustness and lasting performance, the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G refreshes the brand's mid-range offering. At 6.9 millimetres thick, the chassis is slimmer and swaps polycarbonate for an aluminium perimeter frame. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ is applied to both the front and the back, while IP67 certification ensures protection against dust and water immersion at a depth of up to one metre for 30 minutes.

LTPO screen with 1,900 nits of brightness

A 6.6-inch flat Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution is included. LTPO technology enables an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz, which is the key technical advance for lowering power usage. Peak brightness reaches 1,900 nits, guaranteeing outdoor legibility. Eye Comfort Shield 2.0 to limit blue light and HDR10+ support are also provided.

4nm Exynos platform and RDNA 3.5 graphics

At the heart of the device sits Samsung's Exynos 1680 chip, built on a 4 nanometre process. It pairs with the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU, which relies on AMD's RDNA 3.5 architecture to handle demanding graphics. This variant carries 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. In line with the current trend in this segment, the microSD slot is no longer present.

Cameras with advanced stabilisation

Three sensors make up the rear module. Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and PDAF focusing are featured on the main 50-megapixel (f/1.8) sensor. A 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle (123°) lens and a 5-megapixel macro lens complete the setup. 4K video at 60fps can be recorded with the 12-megapixel front camera, backed by the VDIS electronic stabilisation system.

45W fast charging and long-term support

45W fast charging is now supported by the 5,000 mAh battery, reaching 50% in roughly 25 minutes. On the connectivity side, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0 and Dual SIM (Nano-SIM + eSIM) are available. One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 ships with the handset, along with an official pledge of 6 years of system updates and security patches.
