With an emphasis on toughness and lasting performance, the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G refreshes the brand's mid-range offering. Measuring just 6.9 millimetres in thickness, the chassis swaps polycarbonate for an aluminium surround. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ is fitted to both the front and the back, while IP67 certification ensures the phone withstands dust and being submerged in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes.

LTPO panel with 1,900 nits of brightness

The screen is a 6.6-inch flat Super AMOLED unit with FHD+ resolution. Its standout technical feature is an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz thanks to LTPO technology, which helps keep power consumption in check. Peak brightness reaches 1,900 nits, so outdoor viewing stays clear. Eye Comfort Shield 2.0 cuts blue light emission and HDR10+ is also on board.

4 nm Exynos platform and RDNA 3.5 graphics

At its core sits the Samsung Exynos 1680 chip, built on a 4 nanometre process. It teams up with the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU, which draws on AMD's RDNA 3.5 architecture to handle demanding graphics. This variant packs 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Following the trend across the range, there is no longer a microSD card slot.

Cameras with advanced stabilisation

Three sensors make up the rear setup. The primary 50-megapixel (f/1.8) unit offers Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and PDAF focusing. Alongside it are a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle (123°) and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The 12-megapixel selfie camera records 4K video at 60fps, backed by the VDIS electronic stabilisation system.

45 W fast charging and long-term support

The 5,000 mAh battery now takes 45 W fast charging, reaching 50% in roughly 25 minutes. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0 and Dual SIM (Nano-SIM + eSIM). The phone ships with One UI 8.5 on Android 16, with an official pledge of 6 years of system updates and security patches.
