Samsung Galaxy A57 5G

With an emphasis on durability and consistent performance, the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G refreshes the brand's mid-range offering. At 6.9 millimetres thick, the chassis is slimmer than before and swaps polycarbonate for an aluminium surround. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ is fitted to the front and rear, while IP67 certification confirms protection against dust and immersion in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes.

LTPO screen with 1,900 nits of brightness

A 6.6-inch flat Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution is on board. Its standout technical feature is an adaptive refresh rate spanning 1 to 120 Hz thanks to LTPO technology, which helps to keep power draw in check. Peak brightness reaches 1,900 nits at high brightness levels, so outdoor viewing remains clear. Eye Comfort Shield 2.0 lowers blue light output, and HDR10+ is also supported.

4nm Exynos platform and RDNA 3.5 graphics

At the helm sits Samsung's Exynos 1680 chip, built on a 4 nanometre process. It pairs with the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU, which uses AMD's RDNA 3.5 architecture to handle demanding graphics. This configuration comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Following the current trend in this segment, there is no microSD card slot.

Cameras with advanced stabilisation

Three sensors make up the rear setup. Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and PDAF focusing are built into the main 50-megapixel (f/1.8) sensor. A 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle (123°) unit and a 5-megapixel macro lens complete the array. On the front, the 12-megapixel camera records 4K video at 60fps, backed by the VDIS electronic stabilisation system.

45W fast charging and long-term support

Fast charging at 45W is now supported by the 5,000 mAh battery, reaching 50% in roughly 25 minutes. For connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0 and Dual SIM support (Nano-SIM + eSIM). One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 ships with the phone, along with an official pledge of 6 years of system updates and security patches.
