HyperOS 3 and a 6.9-inch screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate are combined in Xiaomi's latest entry-level handset, an unusual specification for this price bracket. Switching from conventional eMMC storage to UFS 2.2 memory stands out among its upgrades, delivering quicker app launches and file transfers. A 6000 mAh battery powers the phone, which comes in Mist Blue along with Black and Palm Green colourways.

6000 mAh cell inside an 8.2 mm chassis

The 6000 mAh battery delivers endurance above the average for this category. Even with that capacity, the device measures just 8.2 mm in thickness and tips the scales at 208 g.

HyperOS 3 (built on Android 15/16) handles power efficiency, refining how background processes are managed. Recharging takes place through USB-C at 15W.

6.9" 120 Hz IPS screen

Navigation and interface scrolling feel smoother thanks to the 6.9-inch IPS LCD panel, which supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

Resolution stands at HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels), with 450 nits of typical brightness and a peak of up to 600 nits. TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and Flicker-Free technology are included to lessen eye strain.

Unisoc T7250 chip and UFS 2.2 storage

A Unisoc T7250 processor drives the handset: an Octa-Core chip made up of 2x Cortex-A75 at 1.8 GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 at 1.6 GHz, paired with the Mali-G57 MP1 GPU.

On board are 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which is quicker than conventional eMMC memory. Storage can be expanded through microSD cards of up to 1TB.

50 MP camera and IP54 rating

A 50 MP main sensor (f/1.8) heads the camera setup, relying on pixel binning technology to enhance light capture.

An auxiliary sensor for portraits sits alongside it, while an 8 MP front camera is housed in a teardrop notch. The matte polycarbonate body carries IP54 certification, shielding it from dust and water splashes.

Connectivity and additional features

The 3.5 mm jack and FM radio support are both retained. A triple tray lets two Nano-SIMs and a microSD card be used at the same time.

4G LTE connectivity, Dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2/5.4 and global positioning system(GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo) are all included. The fingerprint reader sits on the side.
