The Oukitel WP61 Plus 5G is a rugged handset designed for industrial communications and areas lacking standard network coverage. It comes with an integrated DMR digital Walkie-Talkie system, a 20000 mAh battery and the Android 16 operating system. At its core sits the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor, paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a specification above the average for ruggedised devices.

Professional communication: DMR Walkie-Talkie and 5G

Unlike Push-to-Talk options that depend on mobile data, the WP61 Plus houses a genuine DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) radio frequency module that works in UHF bands. This allows direct voice-to-voice conversations and messaging without needing mobile or satellite networks.

The handset features a removable antenna and physical PTT buttons for instant communication access. For day-to-day use, the Dimensity 7025 modem delivers 5G NR Sub-6GHz connectivity, ensuring compatibility with high-speed global mobile networks.

20000 mAh battery with reverse charging

Endurance comes from a 20000 mAh lithium polymer battery. That capacity provides roughly 2300 hours of standby time or as much as 120 hours of talk time.

The system supports 45W fast charging over USB-C, with an estimated full charge taking around 255 minutes. Reverse charging is also included, so the device can serve as an external power source for other equipment through an OTG connection.

The body mixes an aluminium alloy and titanium alloy structure with double injection technology, meeting IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certifications. This ensures resistance to dust, water and drops onto hard surfaces.

Owing to its battery and reinforced build, the handset weighs 651 g.

Cameras and industrial tools

The camera setup comprises a 108 MP Samsung S5KHM6 main sensor, plus an 8 MP night vision camera with infrared illuminators and a 2 MP macro lens.

For tough working conditions, it includes a high-powered rear camping light and a 110 dB speaker, built to be heard in noisy industrial settings.
