The Hotwav Hyper 7S shines for blending a huge battery with a fast screen, two areas where rivals such as the Doogee S110 (120 Hz but 10000 mAh) or the Oukitel WP19 Pro (21000 mAh but only 90 Hz) fail to strike the same balance. Versus the earlier Hyper 7, it adds 5G, 120 Hz and Android 15. Its drawbacks are the HD+ resolution, behind FHD+ panels in the same bracket, and the near-400 g weight, which becomes tiring over long sessions. Even so, the price/performance ratio is competitive for site workers, campers or couriers who value autonomy, the built-in light and ruggedness above image quality.
