EarFun K4 RGB Bluetooth Purple – Children’s Headphones with 90-hour Battery Life and Volume Limiter

EarFun K4 RGB - EarFun K4 RGB - Children's Earphones with Hearing Protection and 90h of Autonomy

The EarFun K4 RGB are circumaural headphones designed for children, focusing on three axes: hearing protection, extended battery life and stable connectivity.

Sound and hearing protection

Sound is based on 40mm dynamic drivers with a flat frequency response (20Hz - 20kHz), tuned to avoid peaks that cause hearing fatigue. Safety is managed by a hardware SPL limiter with three selectable levels: 74 dB for quiet environments or small children; 85 dB following the WHO standard(IEC 62368-1) for everyday use; and 94 dB intended exclusively to compensate for ambient noise in aeroplanes or trains.

Autonomy and fast charging

In terms of battery life, this model stands out for up to 90 hours of continuous playback (with RGB lighting off). With the LED system active, the battery life is 40 hours. The integrated USB-C port allows for fast charging: 10 minutes of connection provides an additional 8 hours of use.

Connectivity and compatibility

Wireless connectivity uses the Bluetooth 5.4 standard with LE Audio protocols, reducing latency to under 60ms for synchronising audio and video in educational applications. It supports SBC and AAC codecs and features multipoint connection, allowing simultaneous linking with two devices (such as tablet and smartphone). For analogue use, the 3.5 mm port includes the SharePort function, which allows a second pair of headphones to be daisy-chained to share audio from the same source.

Design and materials

The housing is made of BPA-free ABS plastic, complying with CPC and RoHS 2.0 safety certifications. Weighing 214 grams, the vegan protein leather ear cushions are designed to minimise head pressure. The side panels integrate RGB LED lighting with 5 display modes. Unlike the K4NC model, this version does not include active noise cancellation, prioritising light weight and battery life.
