These over-ear wireless headphones from Fairphone, the Fairbuds XL 2023, have been built with repairability and sustainability as core principles. Thanks to their modular design, parts such as the battery, ear cushions and headband can be swapped out with ease, helping to prolong the life of the product. Audio is delivered through 40mm dynamic drivers, and active noise cancellation (ANC) is included for a more immersive listening experience.
Bluetooth 5.1 provides a stable wireless connection, and multipoint support lets you pair with two devices at once. With ANC switched on, playback lasts for up to 30 hours. A USB-C charging cable and a 3.5mm audio cable for wired listening are both supplied. The ear cushions use recycled materials, in line with Fairphone's dedication to ethical manufacturing.
