AIR5PRO-BLACK SoundPEATS Air 5 Pro Black

Equipped with a 10 mm dynamic driver acoustic system featuring a bio-composite diaphragm, together with the QCC3091 chipset and Bluetooth 5.4, this device delivers Hi-Res (24 bit/96 kHz) audio through aptX Lossless, LDAC and aptX Adaptive. Up to 55 dB of adaptive noise cancellation keeps surroundings quiet even while travelling, and six AI microphones guarantee clear calls. All of this inside a housing of only 4.8 g per earpiece, offering 7.5 h of battery life (37 h including the case).

10 mm Hi-Res sound

The PU + PEEK diaphragm and dual-magnet architecture provide tight bass, rich mids and extended highs. A 10-band equaliser can be adjusted from the PeatsAudio app, while LC3 or LDAC codecs can be enabled to reveal maximum detail.

Adaptive noise cancellation

Feed-forward, feedback and speech microphones are combined in this hybrid system to cut up to 55 dB across a 40 Hz - 4 kHz range. Transparency mode lets you hear your surroundings without taking the headphones off.

Battery life and fast charging

7.5 h per charge (with ANC active) plus a further 29.5 h in the USB-C case allow several days of use. A 10-minute express charge delivers 2 hours of playback, perfect before heading out.

Connectivity and control

Multipoint compatibility lets you move between laptop and mobile without pairing again. Low Latency mode (~80ms) enhances sync in games or video, and customisable touch controls handle volume, tracks and voice assistant.

Design, comfort and IPX5

The semi in-ear shape spreads weight across the ear cup and lessens fatigue, while IPX5 certification shields against sweat and light rain. The matte black finish hides marks and gives a discreet appearance.

What our expert says

By adding adaptive ANC and aptX Lossless, along with better battery life and IPX resistance, the SoundPEATS Air 5 Pro surpasses the popular Air3 Deluxe HS. Against similarly priced rivals such as the EarFun Air Pro 3 or the JLab JBuds JBuds Pods ANC, it distinguishes itself through a range of Hi-Res codecs and a multipoint mode that operates without clipping. Although the cancellation doesn't match icons like the Sony WF-1000XM5 and the case lacks wireless charging, its blend of detailed sound, premium features and value for money places it among the most complete true wireless options in its segment in 2025.
