Switch off sometimes - thanks to protection against unwanted calls
If you don't want to take calls, you can ignore certain numbers or anonymous callers: When the block list is activated, calls from up to 32 numbers included in it will not ring or will only be signaled on the display. You can manually add unwanted numbers to the block list or transfer them from the call list. For anonymous calls without caller ID, you can avoid ringing and additionally set time controls to determine when the handset should ring - and when not.

Stay connected with integrated phonebook and long talk time
The Gigaset AS690 makes communication easy: With 14 hours of talk time, you can be sure to speak with your contacts anytime. The device's phonebook stores up to 100 names and numbers, and the last 25 calls are automatically listed with number and time. Additionally, with 180 hours of standby time, you are always reachable.

Always environmentally friendly - and radiation-free thanks to ECO DECT
Like all Gigaset cordless phones, the Gigaset AS690 series is equipped with environmentally friendly ECO DECT technology. This means the phones emit no radiation in standby mode; this also applies when multiple handsets are in use, provided the base station and all registered handsets support ECO DECT. During a call, the transmission power automatically adjusts to the distance between the base and handset. The closer the handset is to the base, the lower the radiation. To achieve maximum DECT range, the ECO DECT mode can be switched off at any time.
