Samsung Galaxy A57 5G
With the Galaxy A57 5G, Samsung refreshes its mid-range offering, placing emphasis on robustness and lasting performance. The chassis has been slimmed down to 6.9 millimetres and swaps polycarbonate for an aluminium surround. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ is used on both the front and the back, while IP67 certification confirms protection against dust and against being submerged in water at a depth of up to one metre for 30 minutes.
LTPO panel with 1,900 nits of brightness
The screen is a flat 6.6-inch Super AMOLED unit with FHD+ resolution. Its standout technical feature is an adaptive refresh rate running from 1 to 120 Hz thanks to LTPO technology, which helps to keep power consumption in check. Peak brightness reaches 1,900 nits, so outdoor legibility is assured. Eye Comfort Shield 2.0 is on board to limit blue light, and HDR10+ is supported as well.
4nm Exynos chip and RDNA 3.5 graphics
At the heart of the phone sits the Samsung Exynos 1680, built on a 4 nanometre process. It is paired with the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU, which draws on AMD's RDNA 3.5 architecture to handle demanding graphics. This configuration comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Following the trend across the range, there is no longer a microSD card slot.
Cameras with advanced stabilisation
Three sensors make up the rear camera setup. The primary 50-megapixel (f/1.8) unit combines Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) with PDAF focusing. Alongside it are a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (123°) and a 5-megapixel macro lens. On the front, the 12-megapixel camera can record 4K video at 60fps, backed by the VDIS electronic stabilisation system.
45W fast charging and long-term support
The 5,000 mAh battery now takes 45W fast charging, reaching 50% in roughly 25 minutes. As for connectivity, the handset offers Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0 and Dual SIM support (Nano-SIM + eSIM). It ships with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, and Samsung commits officially to 6 years of system updates and security patches.
