Wireless headphones for children TAK5500RT/00

The Philips TAK5500RT/00 are wireless headphones purpose-built for youngsters, blending safety, comfort and a long-lasting battery. Young ears are protected thanks to a maximum sound pressure level capped at 85 dB, while calls and music still come through with clear, balanced audio. A blue and green colour scheme plus an on-ear control unit make them attractive and straightforward for children to operate.

Connectivity is offered both wirelessly and by cable. Bluetooth 5.4 provides a stable link over a range of up to 10 metres, and the supplied 3.5 mm jack gives a dependable wired alternative when required. Hybrid noise cancellation and two integrated microphones with noise cancellation help cut down surrounding noise, suiting them to online lessons, journeys or everyday listening.

A built-in 450 mAh lithium polymer battery powers the TAK5500RT/00 for up to 60 hours of continuous audio playback with ANC off, or up to 34 hours with ANC on. Fast charging reduces downtime, and the circumaural, closed-back design with 40 mm dynamic drivers delivers comfortable, immersive sound. They are also compatible with Google Assistant and Apple Siri for extra convenience.
