With the Galaxy Buds4, Samsung refreshes its range of wireless earphones by adding Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity and a high-fidelity audio system supporting 24-bit / 96 kHz. In contrast to the Pro variant, this model does without silicone tips in order to favour ergonomics and a natural awareness of the surroundings.

These earphones likewise incorporate Galaxy AI functions, including simultaneous interpretation during conversations, along with compatibility with the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem so that all its advanced features can be used.

Hi-Fi audio architecture with SSC-UHQ

Every earpiece houses an 11mm dynamic driver, conceived to provide a balanced frequency response and clear reproduction throughout the sound spectrum.

Digital audio processing relies on Samsung Seamless Codec Ultra High Quality (SSC-UHQ), which can transmit audio at 24-bit / 96 kHz. This streaming quality becomes available when paired with Samsung Galaxy devices compatible with One UI 6.1.1 or higher. With other devices, the connection uses the standard AAC or SBC codecs.

Bluetooth 6.1 and Auracast technology

By implementing Bluetooth 6.1, connection stability is improved and latency is reduced in settings with heavy wireless signal saturation.

The Galaxy Buds4 are compatible with Auracast, a technology that makes it possible to receive public audio streams or share content with several compatible devices.

Thanks to the Auto Switch feature, you can move automatically between different Samsung devices linked to the same account, for instance smartphones, tablets or Galaxy Watches.

IP54 design and resistance

The design lowers in-ear pressure and lets you perceive your surroundings naturally, which improves comfort over long listening sessions.

The body features the Blade Design, which includes a flat ear bud tailored to touch gestures.

These earphones carry IP54 certification, offering protection against dust and resistance to splashes of water or sweat.

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)

Even with their open architecture, they include Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that works through software algorithms. This system is intended to lessen constant low-frequency noise, such as motors or ventilation systems.

ANC is not designed to isolate the user completely, but to keep a balance between noise reduction and awareness of the surroundings.

Voice capture comes from three microphones and a VPU (Voice Pickup Unit) that senses jaw vibrations in order to improve call clarity and filter out wind noise.

Galaxy AI and autonomy

Thanks to integration with Galaxy AI, Interpreter mode can be activated, playing real-time translations straight into the earphones during conversations in different languages.

They provide up to 6 hours of continuous use with ANC off and up to 30 hours of total battery life by using the additional charges in the case.

Power management is optimised by the new Bluetooth 6.1 compatible chip.
